Obi Obijuru started this firm after two decades in strategy and consulting, having watched too many advisors work at their clients instead of with them, showing up, handing over a deck, and leaving. He wanted the opposite: a seat at your table, beside you rather than across the desk.
Economic Roundtable Associates was named for that idea: a roundtable is where equals sit, where nobody's at the head and everyone's in it together. That's still how we work. Your problem becomes our problem. We stay until it's solved.

Obinna Obijuru
Founder & Principal
Obi spent two decades solving the problems this firm now takes on: consulting at IBM, Deloitte, and EY, nine years leading finance technology programs at Fannie Mae, and most recently advising the Chief Administrative Officer's office at DC Water on performance analytics and technology strategy.
He has run a $45 million technology budget, led ERP vendor selections, built executive dashboards leadership relied on, and led the team that cleared a 180,000-case compliance backlog in 90 days. Strategy when the problem needs thinking, delivery when it needs doing, and the judgment to know which is which.
He grew up in Nigeria, began his career in Grenada, and settled just outside Washington, DC by way of a Georgetown MBA. ERA's bench and specialist network were built along that road.
